Animal Control / Animal Shelter
The Animal Shelter was fully renovated and upgraded in 2006, utilizing a combination of Town funds and private-sector donations, including 400 tiles purchased by area supporters that grace its walls.

Emergency Medical Services

Golf Course
Elegantly designed on 200 acres of green space, we are a full-service facility with 27 regulation golf holes, full-length driving range with 30 hitting areas, short game practice area situated near three practice greens, and a golf shop fully stocked with merchandise.

The Human Resources Department is a division of the Comptroller's Office. Its primary function is to serve the needs of Town employees through the administration of payroll and all employee benefits.

The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the design, maintenance, promotion and beautification of numerous parks, recreational facilities, and seasonal programs throughout the Town.

Planning
The Planning Department provides administrative support to the Planning Board and Conservation Advisory Council, including the processing of subdivision applications and coordinating review, where necessary, among the Planning Board, Town Board, Albany County Planning Board, and GCAC.

Senior Services
Senior Services is a department responsible to the Town Supervisor and Town Board for the purpose of planning, coordinating, advocating, researching, and monitoring services and programs that benefit town residents aged 60 and older.

Receiver of Taxes
The Tax Office is responsible for collecting property and school taxes for approximately 12,500 parcels. In addition, the Tax Office also collects the water bill payments on behalf of the Guilderland Water District. All powers and duties of this office and collection procedures are statutory and defined in the New York State Real Property Tax Law, except for water collection, defined in Town Law.

Town Clerk
The Town Clerk is one of the centers of information for the Town of Guilderland. We prepare and maintain Town Board minutes and Town Board legal notices. We are responsible for accepting, filing, recording, and maintaining all municipal records. In addition, we issue various licenses, permits, and certificates to the public.
