Emergency Medical Services

Overview

EMS is a municipal emergency response service staffed by a team of 45 EMTs and Paramedics.

Each Guilderland EMS ambulance is staffed minimally with a two-person team consisting of an Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic. 

First response SUVs provide additional support facilitated by the Paramedic Supervisor, the Senior Paramedic Supervisor, the Director of EMS Operations, and the Director of EMS, and the Medical Director.

Coverage area is divided into four zones, allowing for quicker response times due to their strategic location.  Guilderland EMS Station One

Hours of Availability

  •  EMS Administrators are on-call 24/7.
