Town Clerk
The Town Clerk is one of the information centers for the Town of Guilderland. We prepare and maintain Town Board minutes and Town Board legal notices. We are responsible for accepting, filing, recording, and maintaining all municipal records. In addition, we issue various licenses, permits, and certificates to the public. Realizing that local government is the branch most directly affecting people's lives, my staff and I are here to serve and assist you.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact my office at 518-356-1980, ext. 1059, or email the Town Clerk.
The Town Clerk is elected and holds a two-year term ending December 31, 2026. The 2026 term is a one-year term while the even-year elections transition.
Sincerely, Lynne M. Buchanan, RMC
