Dear Families,
Another session of our Bird Walk at the Community Gardens program is being offered this spring! Are you looking to improve your bird identification skills? Grab your binoculars and join instructor Jeanette Roundy for a peaceful guided walk around our Community Gardens, to view birds in various habitats around the property. Previous programs have identified over 100 different species such as the Chestnut-sided Warbler, Green Heron and Indigo Bunting.
Walks will be held Friday mornings, 8:30-10:30am beginning April 18th through May 16th. Registration deadline extended to May 1st and the fee is $15. Participants will meet each morning at the pavilion at the gardens. Dress weather appropriate. Register today at Guilderlandrec.com!
