Guilderland also created a Conservation Easement Committee several years ago, and the CAC has been charged with the work of that Committee as well - reviewing any potential Conservation Easement applications that come before the Town.
Here is more on that program. The CAC has tried to encourage easements as an option for subdivisions where this type of land protection might be appropriate.
